The Dentist!

This morning we took the kids to the dentist for their first cleaning appointment. They did really well. We had decided that Annalynn should go first but when we got there she wouldn't get in the chair and told AJ to get in. He obliged and climbed up in the chair. He was a little afraid when he first got in the chair but we were all there with him and I held his hand. The hygenist was really great and showed them all the things she was going to do before she started. His back teeth are really in bad shape and our dentist referred us to a pediatric dentist to get the work done.
When it was Annalynn's turn she would not get in the chair - the hygenist said she could sit on Troy's lap, so that is what she did as you can see from the pictures.
We really like our dentist and his hygenist. My sister has been taking her 7 kids to him for years and referred me to him a few years ago. He has a granddaughter from China and a grandson from Vietnam so was very happy to see our children. His hygenist is Romanian. She is really sweet and has two young children as well.

AJ in his cool shades!
Annalynn watching AJ get his teeth cleaned
I was a little worried about her clenched lips when she first got in the chair but she did cooperate and opened her mouth
and so did dad!

Fun times!! I hate the dentist!! We took Emma in to see how she would respond and she sat in the chair, but that was it. Next time we will try for more!! Glad you got it done and now you can look forward to AJ's dental experience!!
