First Stitches!
Yesterday afternoon AJ fell and hit a door jamb - he got a good cut on his forehead. I have pictures of it pre stitches but don't know how to get them off my camera :-) I was at church and my pastor knew right where some butterfly bandaids were. She put them on and went to the ER with me. Troy beat us there so I took AJ in and Troy took her back to the church and then took Annalynn to my sister's house. AJ was very brave and just cried for a few minutes after it happened and then again when they were all finished and daddy could finally hold him! He did super in the ER and the doctor and nurse were very impressed. It was a very deep cut and they had to put some stitches inside and then it looks like 6 on the outside. They thought they may need to sedate him but he held very still with just the topical and a little shot of litacaine (sp?).

Poor AJ. I'm glad he was such a brave boy.
What a brave boy! I love the Diego bandaid!
Poor, poor little guy!! OUCH! How did mom and dad hold up?!! It always seems harder on the parents to see their little ones in "crisis"!! Hope he's feeling better now!
Poor little man! Sorry we will miss the blessing at church tomorrow. We already had plans or we would have LOVEd to have been there!!
