OMSI

The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) is our new favorite place to be! We bought a membership during the winter and since then have been once a month and been able to take another mom and some of the kids friends each time with our plus membership. It is always A LOT of fun! There is a Science Playground that is designed just for preschoolers. They have a sand play area, a water area, a discovery lab (crafts, playdough and other fun things to do with their hands) and many other fun things to do. The kids playing in the sand! They love it!
The water area. Normally they have smocks the kids can wear but they were sadly lacking this time so the kids got SOAKED!

There is a large water table but they love to carry buckets of water over to this area

You can see how wet Mr. AJ is playing with the blocks

Anna playing with the pulley

Playdough fun

We ventured down to the Turbine Hall after lunch and the kids could have stayed here all day playing with this crane
They took turns turning the wheels to control the crane and loading and unloading the cargo

As you can see from their expressions - they were having a blast! I could have posted a lot more pictures but thought I would spare you! :-)
I love E's expression in this one!
It is such a fun place and I am sure we will be spending a lot more time there with friends in the next few months before our membership expires.

Looks like a play area that I took my 4 big kids, when they were little! Lots of fun (and wet clothes).
I'm glad you're back, Ruth :)
