Monday dawned with still no word from China on our Consulate Appointment. We were about going nuts waiting for it so we hopped on the train and went to the zoo. It has been quite a while since we visited the zoo and Annalynn really enjoyed it. In the past she has not really been that interested but she walked most of the time we were there and was running to see the next animal. She really wanted to see the monkeys but they were upgrading the primate area so there were very few available for viewing! She loved the elephants and the polar bear obliged her by getting his ball and playing in the water. It is so hard to take good pictures of her at the zoo because you kind of want to get the animal and her face and it is hard to do both.
Another hilight this week was find a great deal on her little bike. It was a demo and we got it for next to nothing!!
On Tuesday our long awaited consulate appointment did arrive and we bought out tickets! Today we got our itinerary - I will post it on AJ's site
